What will you find in the garden?
Here at Nettle Garden you are invited to connect to the ancient wisdom of plants and natural healing. Open the gate and find what is most nourishing for you right now. It might be calm and meditative or it might be wild like the green weeds that have supported us for millennia. You might need to rest with reiki or learn a few plant names on one of our walks. Let's discover nourishment.
Having recently been diagnosed with a cancerous tumour, and with a programme of treatment ahead of me, I was in a state of high stress and fear when I came to see Veronika. Entering into the sanctuary of Nettle Garden Reiki room, I immediately felt calmer and safe. The environment is relaxing and also feels very nurturing. During the Reiki session I experienced an immense release of tension and a feeling of wellbeing and strength.
Following that session, Veronika has performed distance Reiki for me at various points in my cancer treatment. Each time, helping me to feel calm and strong, when I have needed that support.
Mrs L. H.
Hi, I am Veronika. Let me tell you
Nettle, also known as Stinging Nettle (Urtica Dioica), is the herb of herbalists. For those, who work with Nettle, she soon becomes a trusted ally, the go-to plant, the friend in need.
She has been here eons before us and I dare say, she will be here long after we, humans have gone. But during that brief blink of an eye that is the human civilisation, Nettle offers her help, support, healing and nutrition.
With the love of her energy and resilience, Nettle Garden was born.
I started with Nettle, drinking her green freshness every day for a month. A from there... and from there!
I discovered School Of the Sacred Wild and the apprenticeship that changed my life (and hopefully I can pass the change on to you!).
Burdock followed, Passionflower, Linden , Holy Basil, Chamomile, Blue Lotus, Reishi; they all followed suit. Many plant meditations, many herbal infusions, many tincture successes (and failures) later, I finally qualified as a Folk Herbalist and Traditional Healer and claimed the title of (deep breath) an Earth Witch.
Stick that on top of my Reiki Master Teacher title and this place, wild but kind, slowly grew.
Our mantra (yours and mine) should be simple - What would feel most nourishing right now?
So follow me to Nettle Garden and let's play!
