About the event
Wild weeds and herbs have been foraged and grown for millennia. Our ancestors knew which plant would help with headaches, grief, sickness, and even love life. Dip you toe to the mystery of nature and all that she has to offer with this walk. We will learn to spot the plants that help us and how to weave them into our lives, to enhance our health and mental wellbeing.
The walk is approximately 60 minutes, with an offer of a herbal tea and the possibility of picking a few sprigs to start your own home apothecary.
We walk in all weathers, unless there is a Met Office weather warning. Well behaved dogs and well behaved children are welcome. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for a farm walk. The paths can be rough, muddy, sticky, and overgrown.
