Kitchen Garden Apothecary

Meet the unsung heroes of our gardens and kitchens. Culinary herbs and common spices that can transform the way you look at your health. We will browse through a herb garden and wild hedgerows to find the common (but very special) plants that can help with minor upsets, acute infections and even chronic ailments. We will learn about how best to extract the plants' medicinal properties and how to preserve them. You will create your own remedy and will leave with a comprehensive handout about our common healing herbs.

The even includes a short walk on uneven surface (farm tracks), medicine making experience and sampling of herbal teas. Light refreshment provided.

Hopper Hut is located at TN57HR, past Overys Farmhouse on a sharp bend, the next right turn. Follow the farm drive to the farm yard past the venue.
